Southern Lakes Model Fliers

We fly at a privately owned field on McKay Road located near Luggage on the east side of the Clutha River off Highway 8A (the route to Omarama) . We welcome visiting model fliers provided they have a Wings qualification issued by Model Flying NZ. The field is within a locked gate so please contact the secretary or president if you would like to join us. 

 

Members fly on any occasion when the weather conditions are suitable (wind less than 15km/hr).  Often Sunday mornings are a good time to find people at the flying field (see location page).
